Showcasing the culinary possibilities of cheese, this Wednesday, La Casota has awarded Diego René López Andújar’s (Beluga, Málaga) recipe during the Reale Seguros Madrid Fusión 20.

The winner of this 5th edition of the Recipes with Cheese Competition sponsored by Quesos La Casota is Diego René López Andújar from the Beluga restaurant in Málaga, who managed to beat the other five candidates to the title in a closely contested final with his dish “Playa de Málaga”. One of conditions of the competition was to create a traditional and/or an avante-garde dish containing La Casota Cream Cheese among its ingredients.

The jury that included Óscar Velasco, Iván Muñoz, David García, José Manuel Araque, Raúl Resino, César Martín and Ana Belén González Pinos, have valued the technique and the handmade preparation of the dishes, in which the participants had to include the compulsory La Casota Cream Cheese.
