Sarolta Bárdos
Born in the Hungarian region of Tokaj, Bardos studied at the University of Horticulture in Budapest. She made various trips to Spain, Italy and France before returning to her native region to start working as a winemaker. In 1999, she planted her first six-hectare vineyard. Today, she is recognized as one of the most outstanding winemakers in a region where winemaking goes back a thousand years. She pays the utmost attention to the vines – as well as to the smallest details – to make great, extraordinarily unique wines.
