We would also like you to get to know our new beer, Mahou Barrica. There is a Mahou to give flavour to every moment and we want you to enjoy an unforgettable experience.

Just as all great journeys have a starting point, all great stories have a beginning. Our story, the story of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, as we know it today, has its roots in an initiative begun by a number of viticultors and winemakers: inventive men, aware of the potential of what their vineyards could offer and knowledgeable about the quality and personality of the wines from this wine-growing region, who set up what now constitutes this Designation of Origin that will soon turn thirty-five.
It was these pioneers from Ribera del Duero who showed the world that this land is a land of great wines; wines that decisively changed the way consumers viewed red wine: elegant wines with great colour that are high in tannins.
This wine tasting will convey the origins of that great idea called Ribera del Duero to you. We will present some of the first wines to be granted this Designation of Origin, wines that have made history, that have marked a path and have made us what we are today. Join us in a unique wine tasting, on a journey to the roots of Ribera del Duero on which you will enjoy unique, exclusive wines that have been out of stock for many years and the few remaining bottles are kept like jewels in these winemakers’ collections.
