ALCOHOL-FREE TOMATO BEER

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

1 Kg. green tomatoes

2 dl. water and ice cubes

1 pinch malt

1 pinch hops

 

 

PREPARATION:

 

Crush the green tomatoes with the water and ice cubes. Filter the juice through a very fine strainer. Add the hops and malt and beat. Pour the mixture into a container with Seltz water and add an air cartridge. Chill overnight.

 

TO SERVE

Serve in a bottle, with a beer glass next to it.

NOTE. My initial idea was that the beer should be water, then I thought of making beer with something that contains a lot of water, such as tomato. The two flavours – beer and tomato – marry well.
