BRAISED CHICKEN WITH BLACK SESAME OIL AND RICE WINE

INGREDIENTS (to serve 4)

Free Range Chicken 1 each (1.6 kg )
Black Sesame Oil 80 ml
Old Ginger 120 gm
Chinese Medlar Herbs 20 gm
Rice Wine 0.5 lt
Chicken Stock 1lt
Noodle Vermicelli 100 gm
Salt And Pepper for taste

PREPARATION

Clean and cut the chicken to large cube and slice the old ginger. Heat the black sesame oil and sauté the sliced old ginger to golden brown. Add the chicken cube and fry to golden brown, too. Add the rice wine to cook 1 minute and add Chinese medlar herbs. Put chicken stock together and cook 15 minutes, until the chicken just done. And taste. Boil the water to cook the noodle vermicelli. Arrange the sesame chicken and tossed the noodle vermicelli with stock.
