PLA RAD PRIK

INGREDIENTS 

500 gr hake1 cup flour
1 cup cold water
1 tbsp choppedchilli pepper
1 tbsp chopped garlic
5 basil leavesOil for fryingChicken or meat stockFish sauce
Salt
Sugar
Lemon juice

PREPARATION

Wash the fish and cut into 5 cm fillets. Mix the flour with cold water and coat the fish. Fry until crisp.

Heat oil in a frying-pan and fry the chilli pepper and garlic. Add stock and stir until it releases a good aroma. Add the fish sauce, lemon juice, salt and sugar.

TO SERVE

Serve the freshly-fried fish with the sauce and decorate with basil leaves.
